What is ERW steel pipe?
ERW is the abbreviation of Electric resistance welding, which refer to a group of welding processes such as spot and seam welding that produce coalescence of faying surfaces where heat to form the weld is generated by the electrical resistance of material combined with the time and the force used to hold the materials together during welding. In general, resistance welding methods are efficient and cause little pollution, but their applications are limited to relatively thin materials and the equipment cost can be high (although in production situations the cost per weld may be low).
What makes ERW steel pipe different with other pipe?
Checking from the above definition, we can know that ERW pipe is welded by high frequency welded by the principle of forging itself edge to meet the seam and then remove the welded scare. So by this method, the welded part could be forged together with the pipe itself as the material from the material itself. So the pipe will be much more solid and stiff when using.
ERW pipe is a "pipe" high frequency resistance welding, is different with the general welded pipe welding process as it is composed of base metal strip body and mechanical strength than the general good, welded pipe.
Where ERW steel pipe will be used for?
According to the nature of ERW pipe, so it is widely used in construction like water pipe, oil pipe, gas pipe and others. Meanwhile it also could be used as pipe line or wire line. For our steel pipe machine is such kind of ERW welded pipe machine. By our machine, you can run pipe making factory to supply construction pipe.
